a few randoms from the new flat

The press still needs to be moved over and will go on the large piece of cardboard on the floor. Still much to be done but we really needed to unpack and start living again so that we could continue and do the little things like the doors and trim in clean clothing and eat off dishes. 

We are moved, kinda?

Close to settled. Nothing heavy left, but we are done for the night. It's a good peak at our new home.

Quiet day at Yucca Flats

Got the floors painted yesterday, now to stay out for as long as possible.

Got our first piece of artwork hung in the bathroom.  Painting by Tracy Stuckey.

And most importantly, we got door stops on a couple doors!  Exciting stuff.

New Mexico Sunset

 

Two days ago.
I had intended to post them but got wrapped up in the loss of a friend. This was the sky the night she died. I had no idea at the time. I did not learn til I awoke the next morning.

I thought since so many people seemed to enjoy the piece I would re-scan the line work and upload it as a coloring page. I also blocked out the name on the off shot someone wanted to change it from H. Calluna to Heather Camba or whatever you like.

Easy like a Thursday morning

Got the second floor coat done in the front room and hallway. First coat finished in the kitchen and laundry room. Time to clean up some appliances.

I think he likes the yellow, despite his hate of the tape.
