In your face yellow

So here are a few before and after shots of what we have done so far in the living room. Which is basically take it from a mushroomy brown to in your face yellow. I still need to hit all the trim with white and we will be sealing and hitting the floors later with an almost baby blue.

We are still going to paint a more traditional bright blue on the walls before we hit the floor and put everything back in the kitchen 

Yes we are moving, not far.

To clarify for those asking me if they should stop sending me mail art. I will be changing addresses but from 218 to 216, the rest of the address will still remain the same. I have already finished a new stamp my newer mail art cards are going out under the new address.

So I added in our floor plan for the curious who want to lurk our move and some of the changes we will be making to the place. I took a set of before pictures today before I went in and steam cleaned the bedroom carpet and Scott got to work tearing up the kitchen floor. 

This is the front door and living room which is oddly split by a hallway so this side we will be using as our movie watching space 

And over here on the other side will be Scott's office side

Something lost, something else lost

Something lost and something else lost. The great view of the Sandia Mountains is one thing about our current apartment I will miss, but will be happy to see good riddance to the electrical wires.  Looking out kitchen window east.

Just a show of our colors.

We got our colors figured out for the new place.  Front room and Laundry room will be the "Neon Light" yellow.  The Hallway, Bathroom, and Bedroom will remain white.  Kitchen and exterior trim will be the dark blue, "Isle of Capri."  The backsplash in the kitchen will be the yellow as an accent.  The Kitchen, Hallway, Front and Laundry room floors will be the lighter "Sapphireberry" blue.  The floor is a pretty close match to the kitchen countertop color.  I think we have figure out where most of our stuff is going.   I will have pics of the space soon.  Pictures might help some of this make sense.
